Nic is the co-founder of mobile-web startup, Motribe. He is a child of dead tree media having studied as a print journalist at Rhodes University in South Africa.He moved through top media organisations in South Africa and pushed in to mobile media at the Mail & Guardian. Subsequently he ran mobile social projects for Vodacom SA, a South African OpCo. Projects included The Grid, a location based social network and Legends of Echo, a massive multiplayer online location based mobile game.
