Fotini Paraskakis has been living and working in Asia since 1993, experiencing first hand huge changes in the region’s television industry. Fortunate enough to have had lived, worked or visited almost every country in Asia, she has been able to put all this acquired knowledge to good use, contributing greatly to the industry’s rapid growth and expansion. Over these past 15 years, Fotini has been instrumental in the success of many channel start up operations and big budget projects for ESPN/Star Sports, Star TV, Astro, Disney, HBO, MTV and FremantleMedia.
She has successfully developed a number of formats across the Asian region which have changed the face of television, resulting in huge ratings and numerous series renewals, most recently with Idols, Asian Idol, Hole in the Wall, The Apprentice, Project Runway, various classic games shows, such as Family Feud and Price is Right, and the current launch of Got Talent across the globe.
A BA(Hons) graduate of Sir John Moores University, Liverpool in the UK, Fotini is a well-known figure in the Asian, European and Australian television industries and has also guest lectured at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore.
Fotini is of Greek-Anglo origin and is currently based in Singapore.
