Jayesh Easwaramony is a Vice President at Frost & Sullivan’s Asia Pacific ICT Practice. He drives business development for the company’s consulting business and spearheads the telecom research team in Asia Pacific.Jayesh’s expertise lies in developing business strategies for new services in the telecom, media and technology sectors, as well as preparing investment and implementation plans for new launches. His noteworthy projects include:
• Created the IPTV strategy for a leading telecom company in Malaysia
• Formulated competitive strategy for a leading Indonesian mobile operator
• Created the investment plan for a wireless broadband operator in Malaysia
• Developed the go-to-market, content acquisition and business plan for the launch of DTH services in India and led the strategic planning process
• Created the mobile content services strategy for a leading media group in Southeast Asia
• Formulated the global growth strategy for India’s incumbent telecom operator for its broadband services, corporate data solutions and international submarine cable project
• Created the market entry strategy and investment plan for India’s largest conglomerate to penetrate the mobile services sector
Jayesh has spoken widely at various international forums and is often featured in leading regional media, such as BBC and CNBC, for his views on the telecom and new media industry.
Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, Jayesh worked at NewsCorp and India’s Tata Group in a consulting and business and strategy development capacity. He earned his MBA at the reputed Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
