Gerald Ang holds the position of Head of Digital Marketing, Asia Pacific at Research In Motion (RIM). In this role, Gerald and his team drive engagement, loyalty and advocacy for BlackBerry in Asia’s key social forums. Over the past 12months, over 2 million people have become BlackBerry fans on various the most popular social networking sites, including one million people ‘liking’ the BlackBerry Indonesia Facebook page. Under Gerald’s guidance the team has won numbers industry accolades and awards, including: #1 social media fan page in India in the smartphone category, and awarded top 5 smartphone Facebook fan page in 2010 by Computer Today in Thailand.
Before joining RIM, Gerald worked at Green Dot Media and NCS in various digital and marketing roles. In his spare time, Gerald is an avid triathlete.
