Mr. Labonte is currently Director of APAC Business Development for Mobile and IP location solutions at CommScope. He advises telecom carriers on technology and business issues, validated using business case modelling. He has over 20 years of Asian telecom expertise in wireless solutions and telecom applications including IMS, NGN, VoIP, Real time Charging, & middleware. He has experience in product management and development for bringing solutions to carriers in Europe, Australia, Asia, the Pacific, and Canada.
Previously he served as Director of APAC Business Development for Redknee; MD of CELAsia; and Nortel’s Director for the Wireless Business for ASEAN/Pakistan. He held various senior positions in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Australia, and Canada over 18 years at Nortel.
