2012-highlights2

#SMWF returned to London in March with a host of social media experts waxing lyrical about the developments in our industry.

After Chris Brogan tore down our preconceptions and misapprehensions on the morning of day one, before building us back up again based on fundamental common sense, we knew we were in for a good show.

It was great to see our delegates approaching our speakers and exhibitors with complex strategic and operational questions about how they achieve pre-defined objectives. There was an evident shift in the industry from questioning why social media was worth getting involved with moving to asking the question ‘how?’.

Other highlights over the two days included the fun and fast paced speed networking sessions which took place in the lunch breaks providing a great way for delegates, speakers and exhibitors to meet in between the ringing of our comedy bell. The Social Soiree held on the first night at JuJu in Chelsea was also a highlight providing a relaxed atmosphere for some networking over a few drinks, and some questionable dancing was showcased by the #SMWF team.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event and we can’t wait to see you again next year!
