Rob Wilk is the VP of sales at foursquare. Rob has more than 17 years of advertising and media experience, in which he’s spent the past 13 years specifically focused in digital on both the agency and publisher sides.Prior to foursquare, Rob directed a team of 60 U.S. and Canada based employees who were tasked with driving optimal search performance for some of Yahoo’s biggest advertisers with revenue on pace to exceed $1 billion. He oversaw the field search account management team, the global search account management team and the award-winning search optimization and strategy team.
Rob, who has worked in various search sales roles over the past decade, joined Overture (now Yahoo) as one of the company’s first 10 employees in the New York office. In addition to search sales and account management positions, Rob was also a founding member of Razorfish’s highly regarded search practice.
Rob is a nationally recognized search expert and has spoken at SES, SMX, The Search Insider Summit and many more. He is also the co-chair of the SEMPO NY Tech Meetup.
