Paul Fox Director, Corporate Communications, Procter & Gamble

paul_fox_2_ Former national and regional journalist, Paul Fox entered the world of local Government public relations during the 1980s later joining a major UK airline as head of public relations and public affairs.

He ran three successful public relations consultancies in Europe before moving to the United States of America in the 1990s to provide strategic communications counsel to many Fortune 500 companies.

He joined The Gillette Company in 2000 and was Director of Global External Relations for the company prior to its acquisition by Procter & Gamble in 2005.

Now, as Director, Corporate Communications, he oversees external communications for P&G’s Global Operations and leads both its Corporate Communications and Crisis Management work.

An acknowledged expert in crisis and issue management, he is a guest lecturer at the University of Bath in the UK and Princeton.   External positions have included serving on the Board of the Boston Better Business Bureau, the National Association of Manufacturers’ Public Affairs Steering Committee, Chairman Emeritus of the Washington-based Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy and Chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers Working Group on Counterfeiting.

He is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 32 and currently serves as the Chairman of Leadership Cincinnati Steering Committee, Co-Chair of The Story Project, a member of the Cincinnati Police Chief’s Advisory Board and as a Board member of several non-profit organizations.

Paul and his wife, Lee, have three children and live in Indiana.
