Jami Michelle Lawrence is the resident Publicis Modem mobile specialist, having worked in the channel helping brands achieve and test their mobile marketing and advertising objectives since 2002. She has worked with clients just starting to create their mobile presence to those having in depth knowledge of mobile, running their 100th campaign. Jami has worked with top brands and retailers such as Nike, Urban Outfitters, Clinique, Volvo, Loreal, United Airlines, USA Networks, and Johnson and Johnson here in the US and globally to build mobile CRM programs, drive to store, games and applications, mobile sites, mobile media plans, interactive billboards, mobile messaging, coupons and content delivery programs. She has great passion in educating and recommending the right strategy for mobile, while integrating campaigns within traditional and other digital media channels.
Jami is currently focusing on working with Modem’s media, marketing and creative teams to bring unique mobile solutions that answer client needs and goals. Modem clients working in mobile now include General Mills, Sanofi Pasteur, Cartier, Citi Bank, Marriott, LG, and Subway.
She is driven by ideating, creating, and measuring mobile marketing and advertising programs. She has helped build and manage hundreds of mobile marketing and communication platforms such as SMS, MMS, mobile sites, applications, QR code, augmented reality, and image recognition.
Jami lives in NYC. She proudly owns no cable as she is strictly Digital, streaming her favorite TV shows and content through her home based server. She is constantly blogging and socializing via digital applications. She spends at least 2 hours a day on her iPhone from paying her bills, reading the newspaper, to browsing recipes to playing favorite games.
Jami is active in the mobile community. She is member of Women in Wireless – Panel Committee, Mobile Marketing Association and the MMA Mentor Committee. In January 2011, Jami was named as Mobile Marketer’s 2011, Women to Watch.
She attends and speaks at numerous conferences such as IAB Mobile, CTIA, OMMA Mobile and Digiday Mobile. At request she has guest spoken at NYU and Columbia about the mobile industry.
